I'm currently attending Roosevelt University for my undergraduate degree in math. My minor is computer science. I enjoy helping students with beginning and advanced math subjects. I break down concepts into the building blocks to make them easier to understand. I stay cognizant of my student needs and what the expectations are in the classroom. I find that many times students who are having difficulty with math have some gaps in their learning in previous coursework. I identify those and address them, which usually leads to the quickest improvements in my students. I can tutor algebra, calculus, geometry, elementary and middle school math, trigonometry, finite math, discrete math, statistics, AP level calculus, and test preparation. In my free time, I write and record music. I like to play the guitar and sing, and I also make my own backing tracks.
